A Glimpse Into the Bootmaking Process - Outsole Stitching
After the inseam is trimmed the outsole of the boot is prepared. A shank and heel rand are then attatched to the boot. The bottom surface is coated with glue to prepare for the installation of the outsole. The outsole is then applied under pressure and sewn to the welt.
