Player Spotlight: Emilia Omander 🤩 “Playing college golf at San Diego State hasn’t just influenced me has a player but also me as a person. In my first year I have learned how important it is to see the process in golf and not let set backs stop you from believing in yourself. Everyday is a new chance and opportunity to get better. It is very easy to focus on all the bad things and forgetting the good. With all the opportunities we get as student athletes I’m very grateful to be able to do what I love every day with the support of the Aztec family. Being new to the whole college golf experience wasn’t easy but having a team so supportive and goal driven made it a lot easier. Being a part of a team in an individual sport is what makes it so fun in my eyes, being able to support each other and knowing we all have each other’s backs no matter what. I can’t wait for the next years and upcoming wins with the team.” ❤️
