HFD responded to reports of a vehicle fire in a parking lot of a shopping center. Units arrived to find the front end of a Bobtail Truck fully involved with fire. As firefighters advanced hose lines, a sudden explosion happened sending firefighters running for safety. Luckily, no one was injured in the blast or the fire. The driver of the truck was not in the truck at the time of the fire. The cause is under investigation.
