Last October, community members from jccchicago, rjd_juf and Holocaust Community Services at cjeseniorlife planted over 500 daffodils to create a memorial garden in honor of the 1.5 million children who died during the Holocaust. On Sun., April 23 visit the garden at Bernard Weinger JCC in Northbrook, listen to a Holocaust survivor’s story and a Violins of Hope performance – a private collection of violins, violas and cellos all collected since the end of WWII belonging to Jews before and during the war.
