Heartbreak Hotel. It was just one of those weekends. You got the lead early and felt good. You can breathe a little easier — the hardest part is done. Grab a hotdog, chat around with your pals, and have a laugh or two at how poorly the other team is playing. “Finally 3 points coming our way.” Second half comes around, you’ve lost your grip, and they’re right back in it. You knew you shouldn’t have said anything. Last five minutes roll around and they make you pay. That was the story for Minnesota, DC, Miami, Dallas, and Austin. Absolutely brutal. But we can all at least revel in each other’s misery. There were still some bright spots, though — even for those teams. Minnesota’s Mender Garcia found the back of the net again, and so did DCU’s Benteke. Make that two and three respectively. Other teams had brighter outings.
