King/Drew Magnet High School of Medicine and Science students recently visited USC's Nuzhdin Aquaculture Lab. They gained firsthand knowledge of aquaculture and the blue economy in a state-of-the-art lab.
"Having high school students tour the lab is a great opportunity to not only train our next generation of scientists and aquaculturists, but also just to increase general awareness of the work we're trying to do," said Melissa Osborne, a molecular biology PhD candidate at Dornsife.
