Here at PJU we celebrate Black History Month. We stand united against a racist system rooted in white supremacy that kills Black people and incarcerates thousands of black and brown people in jails and prisons, which become pipelines for ICE detention centers and deportation. We must remember that for the undocumented community, the police are no different than ICE. They are an extension of ICE. We believe a deeper kind of intersectional work is required for us to fulfill our mission and liberate our most vulnerable communities from systemic oppression. #BlackHistoryMonth #WeStandUnited #PJU
