Tomorrow, August 21st, is National Senior Citizens Day. Our older friends, family members, and neighbors mean so much to us here at Meals on Wheels West. While we serve homebound people of all ages, over 81% of our clients are aged 60+. Seeing the joy on their faces each day makes our mission worthwhile, and we want to take this day to celebrate and thank each and every one of them. At the same time, we want to bring awareness to the struggles that many seniors in our community face.
