I’ve been working hard on myself for awhile now So when my weight loss journey got derailed by a serious illness, I was distraught The illness itself paused all fitness for me for many months. I was allowed to walk but the dizziness made it too difficult The stress & anxiety that followed caused a major weight gain for me and that’s when the depression set in So much hard work had been undone and it was extremely difficult for me to wrap my head around and come to terms that it was completely out of my control and shit just happens I remind myself often that this is just the next chapter in my story and the only thing I can focus on is moving upward and onward The video on the left is me squatting on 10/21 for the first time in about a year I took it slow and kept my weight low and it felt great I’ve been working hard even though I may not be posting it as often The video on the right is today, 10/25, my form is better and I can see my body shrinking I couldn’t be happier 🤗 ...
