It’s been about 10 months since I got back from my trip and about 3-4 months since my symptoms have finally disappeared (thank god) I ask myself this all the time: what would life be like if I never ate that snail? I can’t say for sure that’s what turned my world upside down but it’s the last known thing I ingested before becoming very ill I remember that moment like it was yesterday and to this day it still terrifies me.
