These photos were taken exactly a year ago today in Costa Rica I had started my fitness journey a few months prior to this trip but hadn’t been hitting it as hard until the beginning of this year Just 12 months ago I was almost double the size I am now. It’s amazing to think how much I’ve changed Mentally, physically, emotionally. I’m a completely different person Shortly after my journey began I went on a series of trips. Any trip I was invited on, I said yes to. Sort of an “Eat, pray, love” experience if you will Outside of climbing a mountain in Peru, this was my 2nd hardest trip. On our 2nd to last day in Costa Rica we went on an all day excursion which included horse back riding, white water tubing, zip lining, hiking into the woods for a mud bath and hot springs It was one of the most physically grueling things I had ever put myself through.
