When I first started losing weight I cared SO much what the number was on the scale. I got so obsessed with it that it almost started defining who I was. Once my clothes started fitting better I finally realized that it’s the NON SCALE victories that mean the most. I’m not even at my all time lowest weight right now but I feel the smallest AND I’m wearing smaller sizes in both my shirt and pants. It’s been awhile since I’ve felt comfortable enough to buy new clothes. I remind myself daily to not give up and pay attention to how I look and feel more than that damn machine says.
