In this two-day workshop, students will use drypoint techniques to create printed images using sintra board (a PVC-based material that can be used as an alternative to copper plates). On Day 1 students will view print examples and a printing demonstration, plan their images, and use etching needles to incise line-based drawings into sintra plates. Day 2 will be devoted to completing the image and printing the plates with the intaglio method using an etching press.
