"The large wall installation drapes, folds, and cascades across handmade armatures. The transparent photographs cast latent imagery across the wall, distorting and bending the images within. The entire installation is derived from rolls of 35-millimetre film. Each time I went out to run an errand during the pandemic, I photographed the sky using multiple exposures and colour films, while continuously rolling the film through the camera. The result is a series of continuous photographs that took many months to make.
When lit — colour, light, and images are projected onto the wall, producing an experiential encounter for the viewer. The installation is durational in nature in that, ...
