MacNeil is a genderqueer and interdisciplinary artist working in printmaking, video, performance, and drawing. They currently serve on the executive board of SGCInternational and work as the College Printer at Massey College. MacNeil has an MFA in Studio Art from the University of Buffalo and currently resides in Toronto. At-home apothecary, or EXTRA STRENGTH + PAIN RELIEF is a six-year body of work incorporating painting, drawing, and printmaking. Pulling directly from my home and personal medicine cabinet, these works replicate and probe the various prescriptions, homeopathic remedies, texts, and even clothing used in an effort to find healing.
