Centre[3] Artist in Residence — Emma Enright . Emma Enright @emmaenrightart is a textile artist, designer, and one of Centre[3]'s artists in residence. Through our annual program, we support artists in creating a new body of work by offering space and resources for artistic production. . "My work investigates the materiality of textiles with an emphasis on weaving. I embody traditional weaving techniques to create handwoven cloths for interior spaces, by weaving with tapestry and floor looms. I also incorporate hand and machine stitching into my designs." . Q: What have you learned throughout your residency at Centre[3]? My time at Centre3 consisted of creating woven textile artworks using several looms, embroidery techniques, and felting. I also was able to make considerable use of the print studio by creating varied print techniques with textiles.
