Join us tonight 7-10pm for the opening reception of Joshua Las’ solo show Frutas Y Fruit. For over two centuries, Latin America has been occupied by United States fruit companies. They continue to profit from the exploitation of resources, economies and peoples. By means of displacement, mass murder, and the destruction of sacred land and artifacts, these operations have reshaped the identity of Latin America. Frutas Y Fruit is the retelling of this history from the perspective of one of the displaced. . . . . . . #frutasyfruit #joshualas #art #contemporaryart #reception #artcrawl #cobra #artist #painting #screenprinting #artistrun #artistrunspace #artistruncentre #hamont #hamarts
