Mashal Khan is a multi media artist and is the recipient of our Hamilton-based artist residency. Born in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan she immigrated to Turtle Island (North America) with her family in 2002. Within her work she hopes to subvert the white and/or male gaze that has often spoken on behalf of marginalized women of colour.
