🚨 An exciting addition to our Champions IGA Bendigo Braves program for season 2023, the deadly 3pt shooting Amy Atwell! Coming to us from Western Australia where her junior years crossed paths with our Megan McKay, Amy went on to have a stellar college career at Hawaii where she broke multiple university statistical records and lead the Rainbow Wahine to the Big West Conference Championship in 2022 - earning Big West Player of the Year and MVP of the Big West Tournament. Her performances caught the eye of WNBA teams, with Amy being selected 27th overall in the 2022 WNBA Draft, joining the Los Angeles Sparks. A highlight of her time in L.A was scoring a team-high 19 points on 6/6 shooting from the 3pt line in the Sparks last pre-season game against the Phoenix Mercury. After her time in the WNBA, Amy returned home to play in the WNBL for her hometown Perth Lynx where she’s played a key role in helping the Lynx go on a late season tear and qualify for the WNBL Finals series.
