Let’s call this one: small pups CAN hike! 🐾 Yet, hitting the trails in Arizona last week, sooo many hikers were surprised to see a small pup… blazing the trail! • Multiple times we heard (joyfully! 😅): “Awww, that’s a little INDOOR dog!” • ➡️ It got us thinking… “What size of pup, or person, makes them “trail worthy”?? • Just like us, Maxx had to work up to accomplishing longer hikes. Until he was about 20mo. old - he’d join for ~1 mile over smooth/flat terrain, to allow his bones to form 👍. Now, he’s happy until mile 5~6. Best part about a small pup — he’s easy to carry when he’s reached his max! • And like us, he’s ALL smiles on the trail 🥹. • After, he’s calm, content — and no more zoomies 🏎️. • Simple Reminder that the trails are for EVERYONE - age, size, race, and ability👏. • Ps— is Maxx not grinning in pic 3?! 😂 • • PSS - let’s ensure our pup friendly trails are left pristine!
