Six more states have been granted Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) food-choice waivers under the Make America Health Again initiative to prevent people from using food stamps for unhealthy foods. In all, 18 states have restricted SNAP purchases to limit access to unhealthy items. Implementation deadlines vary from state to state.
