When I had the opportunity to study abroad in Wales, I learned and experienced outdoor education for the first time, which influenced my academics, social life, and career choices. Learning through ‘doing’ and gaining hands on experience in areas like geology through rock climbing, ancient history through hiking, and teamwork through coasteering made me realize that there is more than one way of knowing in addition to making lasting connections with friends all over the world! #NCAAInclusion
