The city's been ready for this. There was an energy throughout the crowd, ready to see their team in their new home. The flood of people coming into the Nordecke was incredible to watch. It never felt like the Crew were ever truly out of the game, even after going down early. The stadium knew they were gonna make a comeback, too. And the captivating thing about soccer is that you never know when that big moment will happen. I actually got chills down my back at the end when the crowd was singing to the team. I've gotten pretty used to shooting NBA or NFL games; the rest time in between plays with football, or the close-up action in basketball. This game was completely different — nonstop play on a massive field — and it was such a fun balance trying to get prepared for the big moments without missing the smaller moments in between.
