January 5th 1911. A band of young men formed a bond around their heritage, faith, and desire for progress. This became known as Kappa Alpha Psi. I’ll be honest as a Kid I wanted to join the Kappas cause they wore red/burgundy/crimson. And they threw up what looked like a blood sign. 👌🏾 😂 For a kid raised around Piru’s/Bloods I thought I found a familiar family. Much like a biological family there’s dysfunction and imperfection but the love is real. Love to all my family. Those from the gang and those from the Frat. In Christ I found a bond that can’t be broken. May you all find it too.
