Yesterday at approximately 1:15 p.m., two “ostriches” were spotted outside their exhibit, but thanks to the quick response of keepers and animal care staff, they were safely secured. This particular ostrich, named Chief Zoological Officer Courtney, was happily bribed with snacks! Animal escape drills keep our teams prepared, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun along the way.😂 #memphiszoo #animals #holidayfun
