Martin Luther King Jr. Day reminds us that service isn’t a moment. It’s a commitment and a movement. Last year, EatLearnPlay joined realizethedreammovement, kicking off the collaboration with a pledge of 100,000 volunteer hours toward Realize the Dream’s goal of 100 million hours of service by 2029—the 100th anniversary of Dr. King’s birth. As we continue building on that promise, we recently held a day of service alongside Eat. Learn. Play. supporters and friends at accfb–sorting over 17,000 pounds of produce to transform into meals for the community.
