Here’s the story of when I got my first D1 scholarship ⬇️ My sophomore year of high school I had a decent year and got invited to Boston College which was my first real visit. We walked around the campus, got to see the weight room, and meet some coaches. Right before we were about to leave one of the assistant coaches at the time Jeff Comissiong brought me into a one-on-one meeting and said “ Young man we want to offer you a scholarship to Boston College.” I was absolutely shocked, speechless, and shook his hand.
