*Adding LOWLIGHTS for depth + dimension ⨠by colorbymarina
this is a great way to add a subtle change with low maintenance!
TIPS for lowlighting:
šš¼ always use a demi permanent color for deposit only, that will gradually lighten with time and allow you to easily highlight through if wanting to go lighter again in the future
šš¼ take thick weaves to create contrast. The color will get lost if you take too fine of a section.
šš¼ alternate pulling the color all the way through on some, and leaving some ends out for a more natural look.
šš¼ always use a board to help control exactly where you want to place the lowlight and allow for proper saturation
