Sunday’s hike to Twin Falls in Olallie State Park was done in typical PNW fashion, a mix of rain and snow set in a lush green forest backdrop. Honestly though, if you’re in the mood for a hike and it’s raining out, hiking to a waterfall is probably the best choice cuz you’ll still get a good view of the waterfall vs no views on a summit. Always a fun time meeting up with some of the mtnhouse fam, and we also grabbed brunch afterwards at southforknorthbend nearby which was delicious and such a cute spot!
A lil about our hike to Twin Falls:
🚘 Only 40 minutes from Seattle
🥾Less than 3 miles RT with 500 ft gain
🗑️ Sadly we saw and picked up a lot of trash, which there is a trash can at the trailhead (not always the case) so if you pick up trash, there’s an easy place to throw it away
Happy hiking!
