I was blessed to play for multiple MLB teams, in Korea, and in almost every Latin American country. But, I knew my career was over when I tore my Achilles in 2020.. little did I know God had an even bigger plan for me. That plan was starting a podcast to teach about both life and baseball by telling stories and pass down information I learned along my journey. This is when “On Deck With X” was created, the more content I put out the more I learned about life from other people. When Covid delayed the start of baseball season, ESPN started streaming KBO games. I took that opportunity and reached out to ESPN broadcasters and got my chance to appear on air multiple times. The communication skills I got by starting my podcast kicked in immediately. From a young age I loved the game of baseball and now I get to talk about it for a living.
