My number 5 candidate for bounce back player of the year is an easy choice with Ronald Acuna Jr. He was already one of baseball’s brightest young stars before he got hurt, and don’t forget he hit 41 homers in 2019. He also hit 24 homers in less than 300 at bats in 2021. I love that he stole 29 bases last year, he reminded us the speed and explosiveness that is there. I expect a huge year for him going into 2023.
