Honouring the club’s 1952 Copa Rio victory, Umbro have unveiled the new fluminensefc away shirt, which will be in use through the remainder of 2023 and into 2024. The Copa Rio was one of the first intercontinental competitions in Brazil, contested by clubs from Austria, Germany, Portugal, Paraguay, and Uruguay. The 1952 tournament was held at Maracanã Stadium and Fluminense won the two-legged final 2-1 on points to claim the title for the first time.
