The latest in a series of mysterious monuments erected on the National Mall in Washington, DC, has an unusual element: public participation. The installation is a 10-foot replica of Trump’s alleged birthday card to Jeffrey Epstein, alongside an invitation for visitors to write their own little message to the administration.
An anonymous group called Secret Handshake has claimed authorship for the work. The coalition consists of “a small group of people who want to find loud, satirical ways to express concerns about the current status of the world,” according to a representative who spoke to Hyperallergic on the condition of anonymity.
