California Highway Patrol says fog season is here, and one simple mistake is putting drivers at risk: thinking their lights are on when they’re not.
And drivers should know: you could even be ticketed for it.
CHP says dense fog drastically reduces visibility across the Valley, making proper lighting imperative to keeping drivers safe.
“We are in the midst of our fog season and just as a reminder, lights are such an important factor of sharing the road and being seen by the people we’re sharing the road with,” said California Highway Patrol spokesperson Mike Salas.
