QUICK PICKLED ONIONS! You guys have been asking, so here you go-the pickled onions I add to most of the bowls and meals I share! ( It takes less than 5 min to make a big batch to enjoy all month. And, they are maple syrup sweetened instead of using cane sugar. Tangy, a little salty and simply perfect! One batch will last i the fridge for up to one month! FOLLOW my account-@kalejunkie-for easy recipes including all the ways I use these onions in my meals! 2 medium red onions 1 cup white vinegar 2 cups hot water 2 tb maple syrup 2 tsp salt 1 tb peppercorns (optional) Peel your onions and slice them very thin. I like using a mandolin to make sure they are even thickness. Place the onions into a clean jar of choice. Pour over the vinegar and warm water, then add maple syrup, salt and peppercorns (if using).
