Bruins prospects James Hagens, Dean Letourneau and Ryan Walsh were named as Hobey Baker nominees on Wednesday afternoon 👀 The Bruins haven’t had a skater prospect contend for the award since Ryan Donato in 2017-18. Jeremy Swayman was the last Bruins prospect to be a finalist in 2020 😳 The Hobey Baker award is given to the top NCAA Division I men’s ice hockey player in the country. Talent and stats are part of the evaluation; the award is also famous for its values in teamwork, dedication, integrity, humility and character. The preliminary list named 87 players as nominees; through voting, this will be trimmed down to the Top 10 in March.
