The James Beard Foundation (beardfoundation) on Wednesday announced the semifinalists for its 2026 chef and restaurant awards. Pittsburgh received two nods, one for a chef, another for a restaurant. Jamilka Borges of the Shadyside restaurant lilithpgh Pittsburgh has been nominated in the Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic category.
