We’re back in action and ready to highlight our Army JROTC #CadetOfTheWeek 🎉 Today we travel to The Empire State and meet Cadet Naomi Narvaez, a junior at Queens Metropolitan High School in New York. Originally from Spain, Narvaez is an active member of both her school and community. Along with #ArmyJROTC, she is a member of a club called FLAME and does community service as often as her schedule allows. “Something that sets me apart from my peers is how easily I adapt. Even though I have moved from country to country, I’ve adjusted well in each one...I also stand out in translating English to Spanish excellently. Even though I don’t speak perfect English, I’ve done very well academically.” Narvaez’s mother serves as her leadership motivation. “Since I was little, she has taught me the importance of being a courageous woman who doesn’t need anything from anyone.
