Francesca Sweet’s journey is one of hard work, determination and belief. Having never been part of an academy set up, Cesca had to find her own way to the top. From a young girl at Sussex, to joining up with her home county Berkshire, trialling and having a successful season at Leicestershire to ending up playing against professionals through the Challengers. A stark reminder that talent can come from anywhere, at any age. We are privileged to have provided Cesca the opportunity and grateful to our friends at @hantscricket for believing in our scouting system. No one team should take credit for this journey, the credit is all down to Francesca and her continuous belief in her ability.
