Elk yeah! It’s #WorldWildlifeDay, and we’re giving a shoutout to the incredible Roosevelt elk. They are more than just beautiful animals; they are an indicator of Olympic National Park's overall health. 🦌💓 Through Olympic's Elk Monitoring project, supported by WNPF donors (thank you!), this program is able to observe and research the changes to elk populations throughout the park and the impact those changes will have across the parks’ diverse ecosystems. 🌲✨ Isn't wildlife and nature the coolest?!
