At the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, the Soyuz MS-26 spacecraft has rolled out to its launch pad, counting down to a lift off at 12:23 p.m. EDT Wednesday, Sept. 11. The crewed Soyuz spacecraft will carry NASA astronaut Don Pettit along with Roscosmos cosmonauts Alexey Ovchinin and Ivan Vagner on a short ride to the space station before it docks to the Rassvet module at 3:33 p.m. the same day. The trio will spend approximately six months living and working in low Earth orbit.
