Proactive policing in action. A Temple Station deputy was patrolling the community when he observed a vehicle with illegally tinted lights and conducted a traffic stop. During the investigation, the deputy determined the driver was on probation/parole and discovered a firearm on the driver’s person. The suspect was arrested for multiple weapons-related charges, and most importantly, another illegal firearm was taken off the streets.
