41. 🤍 With a birthday as close to Christmas as mine is, my husband has always made it a point to make sure my day feels both special and separate from the holidays. This year was no different. It was a beautifully planned weekend with space for us, space just for me, time to move and care for my body in the ways I love, and intentional time with the kids—because a birthday celebration wouldn’t feel complete without them. There’s something about settling into your 40s that feels deeply freeing. I don’t care what people think about me. I am more confident than I ever thought I’d be in the person I’ve grown into. Focusing on my well-being, and the well-being of the people who matter most to me, is at the top of my priority list. Idk how to explain it other than it feels like a really good place to be.
