Animal Kingdom was the perfect first-day-at-Disney park 🦁 Everything felt really manageable with two little kids in tow. We weren’t rushing from attraction to attraction, we weren’t overstimulated within the first hour, and we left feeling like we actually enjoyed the day. That alone makes it a WIN in my book. 🏆 If you’re planning to visit with small children, here are a few quick tips that helped us: 🦒 Start with Kilimanjaro Safaris. The animals are most active earlier in the day. 💦 Bring a refillable water bottle. No explanation necessary lol. 🎨 Budget time for face painting! It was the perfect low-key reset/transition. 🍽️ Tusker House was a hit! Aside from the magic of a character dining experience, the food was so good. Try the curry corn cakes—you’ll be glad you did! 🦁 Don’t skip Festival of the Lion King.
