Here’s everything I packed to keep the kids occupied on our nearly 10-hour flight—and at restaurants, in hotel rooms, and while waiting for tours on this year’s trip to Europe. I needed screen-free options for Cooper (2.5yo) and a mix of tactile, creative, and educational fun for both kids. ❤️ From a switchboard busy board and travel magnetic tiles to new books, mess-free coloring pads, Play-Doh, and Bluey figurines, we covered a lot of ground. Summer also has her tablet for the plane and a travel journal for memory-making along the way. ✈️ The best hack is packing their things into a hanging travel toiletry bag with clear zip compartments so I can see what’s inside and grab what I want—no digging required. PRO TIP: Don’t let little ones have at the entire bag! Be strategic about what you “release” to them so they’re not overwhelmed and don’t get bored with everything all at once.
