The Des Moines native works as one of the state's first Black brewers, creating the beers at Peace Tree Brewing Co. in Knoxville. peacetreebrewing, which boasts a taproom and production facility in the city about 45 minutes east of its peacetreedmbranch taproom in the eastvillagedsm, is the state's first 100% woman-owned brewery.
