🥁 Today’s Wild Wednesday spotlight is all about wild beasts… sorry, we mean beats. One of our after school BLAST classes this session is centered on drumming and rhythm—using buckets and sticks to help students practice timing, coordination, focus, and playing together as an ensemble. With a K-Pop Demon Hunters theme guiding the energy, students are learning how to stay on beat, listen carefully, and build something collective from simple materials. The work is structured, collaborative, and so much fun! BLAST classes give students space to try something new while building skills that carry well beyond the school day. And who knew homedepot buckets and wooden sticks could make a classroom feel like a dance party?!
