follow georgeandcris for travel inspo 😍 USA’S MOST SCENIC ROAD DETAILS ⬇️ 📍 The Going To The Sun Road in Glacier National Park, Montana stretches over 50 miles through some of the most spectacular scenery in all of North America. 🌲 During the stunning, bucket list worthy drive visitors are treated to breathtaking views of snow capped mountain peaks, glaciers, emerald-blue alpine lakes, subalpine meadows, ancient forests, and even wildlife, if you’re lucky. 🛣️ To drive this road you will either need to book an online reservation at recreation.gov OR arrive before or after reservation required hours: 6am-3pm. The road is usually open late May-early September. Check nps.gov for road openings & closures. 🏔️ This epic stretch of road takes you through Glacier National Park. We enjoyed driving on it early to watch the sun come up over the mountains.
