BUCKET LIST WINTER HIKE IN BANFF 🥾🏔️👇 ❄️Name: Johnston Canyon to Upper Falls 🥾Distance: 3.4 Miles (Out and Back) ☁️ Elevation gain: 900ft 👣 alltrails rating: Moderate (well maintained trail) 🚙 Parking situation: Parking is limited at but when we arrived at 8:30am we were the only ones in the parking lot. 🥾 What to bring: Warm coat, layers, water, hiking poles, and traction devices for shoes are highly recommended as the trail gets icy during the winter. What to expect: Johnston Canyon transforms in the winter, offering a magical experience with snow covered trail and trees, ice-covered canyon walls, and frozen waterfalls.
