Yall I promise I lotioned my baby’s legs and knees before she went to school for her preschool pictures. She’s only 3, and somehow her little knees still said nope. Like… what is this? I don’t know if the camera told her to blink or if the flash just exposed every dry thought she had, but whew. We will be using Vaseline and baby oil going forward because clearly regular lotion did not stand a chance. And why is she standing like she’s somebody’s auntie on the porch yelling at the kids to get back in the house? Like girl, find a cute pose. This was her very first preschool photo, too. It already started off wrong because I didn’t even know it was a Christmas-themed picture — I thought it was Thanksgiving. So there I was the night before, scrambling to throw an outfit together.
